How we handle browsing data, contact requests and game saves.

Last updated:

1. Controller and scope

The controller is Luca Marzo, based in Turin, Italy, who operates the site under the name Jecko Development. For any request about personal data, email info@jeckodevelopment.com.

This notice is provided under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). It covers jeckodevelopment.com, its font and software catalogue and the games under /play/. Linked external sites and downloaded applications may have their own notices.

3. Messages and contact requests

The contact page opens your email application through an email link; the site does not use a submission form. If you write to the controller, your email address, any name supplied and the information in your message and attachments are processed to respond and handle your request. The mailbox is hosted by Host S.p.A.; ordinary access to correspondence is restricted to the controller, without excluding necessary technical processing by the provider.

For quotations, service requests and related dealings, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract or performing a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Other enquiries rely on the legitimate interest in managing and answering correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)); mandatory legal requirements rely on Article 6(1)(c). Sending a message is optional, but we may be unable to respond without the necessary information. Please do not send special-category data or unnecessary documents.

Emails are retained for at least one year from receipt to handle the enquiry and any follow-up. Beyond that period, they are retained for as long as necessary to manage the enquiry or relationship, meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims, subject to applicable time limits. The need for further retention is assessed according to the messages’ contents and purpose; this is not indiscriminate indefinite retention. Correspondence is not used for automatic newsletter subscriptions or advertising campaigns.

5. Game saves in your browser

Games use localStorage, a storage area on your device, for matches, unlocked levels, high scores, gameplay statistics and preferences such as sound, theme or difficulty. The data vary by game. Key names identify the game and function, for example jd-scopa, jd-prism-shift, jd-ramino or jd-sudoku, including version, settings or record suffixes.

Saving functions keep these values in your browser and do not automatically send them to the server. They provide the gameplay and resume features you request, rather than identifying you for advertising.

Saves have no fixed application expiry: they remain until overwritten, deleted by you or removed by your browser. You can remove them in browser settings by clearing site data for jeckodevelopment.com. This may remove progress and preferences for several games, because they share the same domain. Blocking storage may prevent games from being saved or restored.

6. Providers, external resources and transfers

Hosting and email are provided by Host S.p.A., Corso Svizzera 185, 10149 Turin, Italy. Host processes hosted data on the controller’s behalf under its DPA; some technical or legally required processing is performed under the provider’s independent responsibility. Applicable notices and agreements are available in Host’s Privacy and data protection section and privacy notice.

In their current versions, Castle Crash and Air Double load some fonts through Google Fonts. The connection discloses your IP address and technical information required for the request to Google. Its purpose is to display the game’s fonts, distinct from analytics and advertising; the controller’s legal basis is the legitimate interest in presenting the game. See the Google Fonts information and Google privacy policy.

Providers may use subprocessors under applicable agreements. Requests to external services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area; applicable safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, are described in the respective providers’ notices. You may ask the controller for information about recipients and safeguards for the services used. We do not claim that all processing by every provider occurs exclusively in Italy.

Data are not sold. They may be disclosed to authorised technical support providers as necessary, and to authorities where required by law. Ordinary links to external sites open at your request: the destination applies its own privacy notice.

7. Your rights

Subject to GDPR conditions and limits, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, email info@jeckodevelopment.com. Requests are answered within GDPR time limits, normally one month, subject to permitted extensions. You may complain to the Italian data protection authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or another competent supervisory authority.

The site does not use data for automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on users.

8. Updates
